Hosted services
CES hosts or oversees servers in a datacenter or the cloud. Hosting and the helpdesk are one crew — the same bench that answers the phone. We do not move a working closet server to the cloud so a license bundle looks modern.
When each answer is honest
Closet, datacenter, or cloud
Closet
A server in the office is still allowed if that is the honest architecture. It still gets backup, monitoring, patching, and a five-year plan. We will not shame a closet that works.
Datacenter
When power, cooling, or after-hours hands in the building are the problem, a datacenter rack is the honest move. Same bench. Same ticket trail.
Cloud
Cloud because the workload belongs there — not because a license bundle looks modern. If a distant NOC would be the only people who understand the tenant, we will not put you there.
Same team
What “supported by the same team” includes
- Patching on a cadence, not a mood
- Backup, and a restore you have watched work
- Who has access, and who should not
- The same people on ext 1 when it misbehaves
What we will not do
A distant NOC is not this desk
You do not get a cloud tenant that only a far-away operations center understands. The hosting decision and the support decision are the same bench. If that is not what you want, we will say we are the wrong buy.
